To start with this story is SHORT!!!! so extremely short and that was a little disappointing for me. The story is great, despite it being short in nature. Cassie, sister to a loser gambling-addicted brother goes to
Hagen, a loan shark with a terrifying reputation, to pay off his
supposed $5000 loan, only to find out its really thirty thousand
dollars!! unable to pay that amount of her college students income,
Cassie is stunned! Till Hagen makes her an offer she can’t and neither wants to refuse. Cassie is wildly attracted to Hagen and Hagen treats her like a princess. Is it really all about the money for Hagen?
Again this book is short and even though you find out Hagen and
Cassie’s back story, I found myself wishing there was just a little more
to the story.
This book is a great introduction to Roxy Rivera’s new Russian Protectors series, this book earns a 7 out of 10 from me.
