This book!! My goodness! This book! It's amazing! Beautifully written,
and literally has me in tears as I write this review.
Montana Heat: True To You is the amazing book by the talented Jennifer
Ryan; The author that has managed to devastated me with every book
that she writes! But this book hit me the hardest, and not only because I share
a name with the female lead, but because Cara wants the one thing she
wanted so badly, but could never have....a family.
Cara Potter grew up as the daughter of the Iceman, a notorious drug
dealer, and she bore the brunt of his infamy. And now this handsome stranger
has walked into her life, and her business, Crossroads Cafe, and makes he wants
the one thing she thought she could never have....a real chance at love.
DEA Agent Dawson King was finally out of Jail, after being undercover,
trying to get the inside track with The Iceman, a part of his assignment is to
befriend the Iceman's estranged daughter, to collect information, but
what he doesn't expect is to fall for Cara, but what is he going to do when the
truth comes out?
As I said before, this book is truly amazing, and I honestly believe
this is her best book today, though I have said that with every book she has
ever released! But it was wonderful to see more of King's character, after
first meeting him in Montana Heat: Escape to You, and his determination to keep
Cara, would make every women swoon, and he shows that he is more than the
light-hearted character we first met.
So after all that waffling, I give True To You 5 stars!!!
