Two Weeks
with a SEAL is a great book. It’s a love story between Rhea and Chad that’s
starts out on tragedy for Rhea. Pulling herself together after the back to back
loss of both her SEAL brother Randy and the overdose of her Mother on Christmas
Eve is almost too much, but then Chad comes home for two weeks and that changes
her whole life.
This is a
story told from two sides, which is great for a reader. Be prepared this is a
book set in real life, dealing with real life issues. This is Part 1 of a
series and by this end you want more. The only issue I have with this book is
you don’t get to hear Harlan and Kendall’s side, but I think I am just being
greedy with that request. So the story goes like this, Rhea’s life has been
full of hardship and tragedy. Her mother, brother and Rhea manage to get rid of
their abusive husband/father. Rhea’s brother joins the SEALS with his best
friend Chad. Randy is killed while on a mission and Rhea’s mother overdoses on
pain killers and dies on Christmas. Chad (the man Rhea has secretly been in
love with), come home for two weeks and is determined to have a relationship
with Rhea. While trying to be together they have to deal with Duke, a man Rhea
hooked up with, but has no feelings for. We follow their time together for the
two weeks that Chad is home.
This book
was such a beautiful read. Two Weeks With A SEAL is such a beautiful read. I
found no plot holes and moments where I go huh??? The characters are 3D and
with some of them very complex. If you are looking for steamy hot erotic sex,
this book may not be for you, as this book is truly all about the romance.
Two Weeks
With A SEAL earns 10 out of 10 from me, just keep your hankies ready!
