Hello there! I am Cara of Just Cara and welcome to my blog. This blog was formally called Cara's Book Boudoir, but with the expansion of my genres, I felt that a 2023 refresh needed to happen.
Now let me introduce myself, I am a originally from the UK, where I found my love of romance novels reading a Betty Neels book...and that was just the beginning, and I spent many teenage and early adulthood potting in and out of book shops in London, and my home county of Essex.
When I was 23 I moved to America as a nanny, met and married my husband, and 20 years later, I'm now a duel British & American Citizen, who still loves reads romance books.
As a nanny, I have worked in Europe and America and I have taken my romance books with me everywhere, especially with the invention of a kindle, which has helped my collection of romance books continued to expand and my tastes spread to all aspects of romance, from erotic-romance to military and Christian romance.
Early in 2012, I joined a group called the Avon Addicts, that is a fabulous reviewer/readers group. I was encouraged by the ladies to start my own blog and that's how my life as a blogger was born.
Now 12 years later, I am still apart of the alum group, I also love BookTok and Bookstagram.
