When the going gets tough, the tough turn to Chris Chapey. As the
right-hand man to a group of take-no-prisoners mercenaries, Chris can
organize a top-secret rescue mission with his eyes closed. But when it
comes to his personal life, Chris is the one who needs a little help.
His
problem: Matt Houser. Chris can't deny his attraction to Matt, but Matt
has no idea what Chris's job really entails and how much it means to
him. Matt challenges Chris to change his life—and make a place for him
in it. Can Chris risk telling him the truth?
The final story in the Edge of Honor
Series; it is a series which I have grown to love and I am very sad to see it
go! But on the other hand I am thrilled that Chris is getting his own book.
So in this novella, Chris finally
finds love, but is torn between his loyalty to Dare, Trace and the rest of the
team and his feelings for Matt. Matt thinks Chris is a mere errand boy and
thinks he has so much more to give. Chris is torn up and doesn’t want to tell
anyone how conflicted he is. But Chris is more transparent than he realizes and
the women catch on. When they explain what is happening to Dare and Trace, they
take matters into their own hands and pay Matt a little visit.
In this book we get the chance to
say a proper goodbye to all the character that we have loved from the
beginning. Even though this book completes the stories I am finding it hard to
let go, but then I remind myself that I can just re-read the books all over
again.
What Chris Wants is a great ending to
such a fantastic series; As always Ms. Foster has written a great book, so much
so that you feel a part of the story. With that being said I give this book 5 stars for this beautiful love story
