This
story is a little confusing, so stay with me! The 3 facts that you can say
about Katie Abbott, 1: She is the adopted Mom to her precious Janie. 2: She
doesn’t trust cops because of the abuse she suffered as a child. And 3: She is
willing to make an exception for Matt Lane.
Matt
Lane had just went through a horrible divorce and has now vowed to never get
married and have children, but that is until he ran into Katie at the bar! Now he
is not only smitten with Katie but with Janie too. But then the monster from Katie’s
past reared its ugly head and you are left wondering if Katie will be able to
save her and her daughter? Or Matt gets to them in time!
So
I will admit; I had to read this book twice, as I missed so many things the
first time around! So go slow! Don’t rush, or you will miss important stuff! I
think the only element that was missing from this story, is more from Janie!
The writing smooth and the plot, although confusing at times, was relatively easy
to follow.
I
give Falling for the P.I. 7 out of 10.

story, bound it (with staples and a cardboard cover) and did all the

Writing
on a laptop in the middle of the country in a rambling old Victorian house would
be ideal, but she's quite content living in suburbia with her husband, their
two young children, and very bad cat.
