This book is fantastic from start to finish. The news broadcast at the
beginning of the book can make it either a stand-alone, even though it is part
of the series.
The
struggle of Rowena at the beginning of the book makes my heart bleed. That one
section alone made me what to go back and re-read the series all over again. As
the book progressed and she met her mates Blaine and Penton, her character
develops wonderfully. I honestly fell in love with the 3 main characters for
their individual strengths and weaknesses. As Rowena, Blaine and Penton travel
across the country, the 3 mates learn how to exist with each other, deal with
their pasts, and cope with Rowena’s supernatural connection with family she has
never met. All the while, being stalked by evil. Awesome book 10 out of 10
