Too sexy to resist?
Danielle
Andrews was supposed to be on her honeymoon. Instead, she's back on
Discovery Island licking her wounds and running for shelter when she
sees Daeg Ross coming her way. Years ago, on this very beach, Dani
started something with the special ops aviation rescue swimmer. But she
refuses to be tempted by the wickedly hot military hunk again.
Daeg
Ross is used to jumping into treacherous waters. But his feelings for
relationship-shy Dani are a whole new type of risk. They are
volatile—and irresistible. When their lives are threatened by the
invading winds and endless rain of a tropical storm, Daeg and Dani are
forced to take shelter and ride out a wild night. Together, will they
sink…or swim?
Uniformly Hot! The few, the proud, the sexy as hell!
WOW! Was
this book titled correctly, it is Wicked Sexy from the setting to the
characters and it truly is uniform hotness!!!
So Dani
hadn't seen Daeg in 10 years! After he walked away from her, once he gave Dani
her first kiss. But a chance meeting on the beach reunites these star crossed
lovers...but they don't come together with passion, at least not on Dani's
side, cause she is one truly PO'ed women! Not only did is she on her Honeymoon
BY HERSELF!!! But the man who set her on this path of failed romances is
standing right in front of her looking sexy as ever!
Daeg
has his own problems. Not only is Daeg injured from his last mission, but he
lost one of his men and a good friend. But when he sees Dani again, all the
passions from the past arise and he wants Dani again. This two are thrown
together in a storm, but will Dani actually learn to trust him again? Or will
he let her down.
Love
this book, it truly is a modern day fairytale, with just as much hotness
sprinkled on top, I can just about handle it.
All the
characters in this book are fantastic! Dani and get a wee bit annoying with the
stick up her backside, but hey, when you think about it, I would be overly
cautious when it comes to putting my feeling back on the line for someone to
possibly stomp all over it again,
The
writing style was clear, smooth and not over fussy, I didn't feel bogged down
by the military terms or get frustrated by the overused of acronyms.
This
book scored a 9 out of 10 for me, there is so much deliciousness in this book,
how could I not!
