So we are back with another Melissa Foster book and another Cape Cod story and I feel like this book is a little different than the others, but I think that this is the ultimate growing comfortable with your adulthood book.
Jana Garner’s life is crazy busy with running the dance school while her boss is out of town, She is training with her brother for an exhibition fight, working at the Underground for her other brother and getting her orgasms and sunsets from Hunter Lacroux, which includes her sneaking out every time before he wakes! But something is missing and every time Jana wants to go for something she gets scared, so it's just better to leave things as they are…right?
Hunter Lacroux wants more than just friends with benefits relationship with Jana, but how can he get her to realize that? By helping her to forfeit her dreams, but it always feels like he takes two steps forward and 10 leaps back. Will under be able to get Jana to see that their future and relationship could be everything they want and that he could help him on the road to her freedom, or will Jana subconsciously sabotage their future?
Seaside Embrace blew me away! It was simple, it was beautiful and heartwarming. I loved the main characters, Hunter and Jana, I empathized with both of their relationship struggles and have past mistakes flash in front of your eyes every time you are scared to make a decision or take a step towards your future. I loved the way Melissa tied in all of the past characters into the book especially Theresa, Bella and the pranks. There are also a whole bunch of new characters that I am hoping Ms. Foster gives new stories too. As normal, the writing and plot were simply divine and more-ish!
This book is just a whole bunch of deliciousness and I absolutely loved, which is why I gave it 5 stars.
