There’s no resisting a desire like this…

MMA fighter Miles Dartman’s casual arrangement with personal shopper Maxi Nevar would be many men’s fantasy. She seeks him out, they have mindblowing sex, she leaves. Rinse, repeat. Yet lately, Miles wants more. And when Maxi requests his services via the Body Armor security agency, he’s ready to finally break through her defenses—and protect her day and night.

Receiving a large inheritance has brought chaos and uncertainty into Maxi’s life. Her ex has resurfaced, along with lots of former “friends,” and someone is making mysterious threats. Then there’s Miles, who doesn’t ask for anything…except her trust. Pleasure is easy. Now Maxi has to give her heart as well as her body…or risk losing a man who could be everything she needs.

Lori Foster is back with another amazing Body Armor book, and I have to
say, that out of all the books in the Body Armor series, Close Contact is by
far my favorite!

When Maxi Nevar awoke outside, with no recollection of how she got
there, it was the straw that broke the camel's back, of strange and
progressively worse things that had happened to her, after she took over her
Grandmothers ranch, and her collection of feral cats. But there was only one
person that she felt confident to go to, Miles Dartman.

Miles Dartman, aka The Legend, in his MMA days, is now working for Body
Armor Inc. But the last person he expected to see again was Maxi, especially in
his bosses (Sahara Silver) office. But when she spills her story, his desire,
not only to protect her, but for her kicks in, and he is determined to protect
her from whomever is after her.

As I said before, this book is seriously my favorite of the series. Not
only do we get to know Miles and Maxi's characters, but we also revisit with
Leese, Justice and Brand. But on top of that, we get to know more about Sahara,
and I have to say, no matter what book I read in this series, Sahara's
character stands out the most, and I think a lot of that has to do with the
disappearance of her brother, and her determination to find him.

I honestly cannot say enough great things about every part of this
book. There is romance, suspense, a little mean mugging, cats, and at the very
end, something really gross, that made me want to bathe in hand sanitizer! And
this is why I give Close Contact 5 stars!
