An Amish witness to murder

Another riveting Amish Country Justice book

On the way to deliver a baby, Amish midwife Lizzy Miller witnesses her driver’s murder—and now someone plans to silence her. Lizzy knows better than to trust strangers, but she must depend on former Amish turned Englisch police officer Isaac Yoder. And there’s nowhere safe to hide…unless Isaac reconnects with the Amish community he left behind to protect the woman he’s falling for.

Guarding the Amish Midwife is the 6th book in the Amish Country Justice series by Dana R. Lynn, and I have read none of the others before but honestly, it didn’t matter as the author introduced all of the characters and doesn’t distract from the story.

So in this book, Amish Midwife Lizzie Miller is on the way to deliver a family members baby when her substitute English driver is murdered in front of her eyes! Now she is being protected by ex-Amish policeman Issac Yoder, as the murder now has Liszt in her sights.

Guarding the Amish Midwife is a nice romantic suspense, and of course, being an Amish romance it’s a sweet romance, and that makes it a nice change of pace. It is a well-written story and definitely a series I would like to read from the beginning.

I give Guarding the Amish Midwife 4 stars
